Projects, project, projects

It seems like we have a never ending list of projects now that we are in our house. We love our house and are so blessed to be living here, but it will be nice once the project list has grown smaller. We have almost finished the sprinkler system (the control box just needs power supplied to it and the heads put on in the back yard) and we laid sod in the front yard. I never knew how much work it would take to get a yard put in! I am amazed at all the time we have put into it. Here is the project list in somewhat order of importance -

Yard items:
1. Sprinkler heads, wiring control box
2. Tilling and raking out the yard for seed to be put down
3. Cutting grass for property line and planter areas
4. Have edging laid for planter, tree areas
5. Start planting trees, bushes, flowers
6. Get the garden ready to plant
7. Put in a fence

House items:
1. Hang pictures (not a single picture has been hung)
2. Organize garage and move Josh's lathe
3. Start planning/building a built in bookcase/cabinets with a matching desk to go in our office. I am trying to look for others to make sure the bookcase would look good behind the desk in the office. Here are some that I found are along the lines that I am thinking:

Architecture and Interior Design traditional home office

Matthies Builders traditional home office

Santa Rita Ave traditional home office

Study home office

Home Office traditional home office

Office traditional home office

4. Once the office is done I want to put in a fireplace with built-ins next to it with space for the TV above. This is probably many years out with everything else that needs to be done first, but I want it to kind of end up looking like these:

Decor by Jennifer Inc family room

Ullswater traditional family room

5. Toby has his own room (for now) and it is pretty empty so I would love to make him one of these:

Well - I am out of time and this is about as creative as I get and will be posting more ideas of what I want to do with our house.
